Solution Introduction:

This management solution focuses on collecting and storing each of the TCP connections traffic statistics. Connections that are opened against the managed network elements may it be Routers, Switches or any other network type device that supports the CISCO-TCP-MIB.

The main goal of the management process is to enable the network administrator to baseline and monitor all TCP connections running against a particular element or a group of elements or even the whole network and deduce performance characteristics and traffic volumes.

The solution presentation is based on the proprietary Cisco enterprise TCP MIB Objects.
