VOIP Call Traffic Statistics History Report

Solution Introduction & Overview:

This Small management solution provides an application that monitors and accounts for the Voice Over IP (VOIP) calls performance and traffic statistics levels made through IP network devices.

It is essential to network administrators today to track each call’s VOIP performance and traffic statistics levels as they are interested in creating *true* and *functional* VOIP Call ‘Service Accounting Levels’.

This could be done by collecting the values of the MIB Objects representing the transmitted and received packets and bytes calculated per actual Call in a production environment. The MIB Objects are cCallHistoryTransmitPackets, cCallHistoryTransmitBytes, cCallHistoryReceivePackets, cCallHistoryReceiveBytes respectively.

The solution presentation is based on the DIAL-CONTROL, CISCO-DIAL-CONTROL, and the CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL MIBs which both include the objects necessary to maintain the above described voice call accounting statistics.
