SmartMIB application generally enables administrators to insert threshold detection points which could be set according to pre-calculated optimal values according to the network service operation being measured. Values representing violations could be reported in Journal’s Real-Time messages as well as in the final history reports or in fact can be sent as an email notification back to the network operators.
Setting the threshold detection points is very simple by clicking on a standard Threshold Alerts setup button available with every graph of any feature within any of the SmartMIB solutions as is shown below:
